Description: In unused, mint condition, Stunning and vibrant early 20th century polychrome enameled ironstone lidded butter dish with strainer by Minton in the pattern C4961, c. 1920's. Pattern features an Asian motif with central scene of vases and flowers with a blue and yellow trellis band with alternating flowers in cartouche, with heavy applied enameling. Back is stamped with the Minton mark used from 1912-1950. Measures 4 1/2" high x 8 3/4" diameter, set is in Mint to near mint condition free of nicks, fleabites with little to no wear, (note some minor discoloration to the interior wall as shown) please see all photos.
