Description: OOAK MINIATURE SEA CAPTAINS TRUNK FILLED WITH ACCESSORIES. I used this in a 1:12 Scale Dollhouse, setting it on the floor of a sea captains study, but my personal opinion is that it fits the 1:6 Scale better in size. I set this on the floor of a retired sea captains study. Sitting on the floor it fit in nicely, however, my opinion is that it is more the 1:6 Scale. I used it, as is beautiful and it looked great in the study and blended nicely with my 1:12 Scale There are four opening ocean maps on scrolls, the fleur de le design brass telescope, metal dagger, metal sword, metal sextant and the paper/cardstock captain's sea journal/log book. The journal has 23 weathered pages, front and back, which include night sky maps journal entries and, treasure maps. The journal has a metal filigree clasp which slides on and off to open and close the journal. The trunk has been hand painted. The exterior straps are made of real suede leather with nail head accents. The trunk top scene depicts a sea faring sailboat in rather questionable weather. The trunk sides include brass anchors and real leather handles. The front has metal embellishments, a small fish and shell. This trunk opens and closes with brass hinges on the back and has a metal closure. The interior scene shows a beautiful schooner at sunset with sails full of wind as the sun sets in the background.
