What is included: a Drink Tube, NSN 8465-01-519-2385; A Hydrolink Conversion Kit, NSN 8465-01-499-9948, which includes the Hydrolock Shut Off Valve (this is barbed on one end for attachment to the drink tube and has a female quick release on the other end) and a Bite Valve adapter, which plugs into the Shut Off Valve; A Type A Mask Adapter, NSN 8465-01-517-6850, for M-50 series Gas Masks; and a Type M Gas Mask Adapter, NSN8465-01-517-4773, for M-40 series Gas Masks. The Bite Valve is for normal, non chemical environment use, and the Gas Mask Adapters allow drinking water with your gas mask on. All adapters have a male quick release for insertion into the shut off valve. Although the brand is Camelbak this kit will convert most brands of Hydration Bladders to a quick release system. Any time these components are exposed to a chemical environment, even for training, they are contaminated and should be replaced. Its always good policy to keep a back-up kit on hand. Hydration is critical. These items bought seperately from me total $27.96 so this is quite a savings. These items are not in standard Camelbak retail packaging, but are packaged for the military.
