Description: Oversized Coin Prop Replica This is prop replica casting molded directly from a screen used coin from the Forrest J Ackerman collection. The original oversized coin prop was handed out to patrons of "Max O'Hara's Golden Safari" Club in the 1949 film "Mighty Joe Young" and tossed at Joe while he was on stage. Ray Harryhausen has a replica created from this same casting in his personal collection. This Mighty Joe Young Oversized Coin Prop is approximately 9 ½” x 9 ½” x ½” and made of a very thick and durable urethane casting resin. This casting was made as part of a preservation process created using an original “screen used” coin prop. The coin has been professionally painted to match the original, and has a hook embedded in the back for ease of display. **NOTE** This prop coin is a modern day casting, and was not screen used, and is not safe for flinging at gorillas, monkeys, or humans.**** Mighty Joe Young Coin Tossing Scene Screen Captures from "Mighty Joe Young" Screen Captures from "Mighty Joe Young" William Forsche offers you this high quality prop direct from his Hollywood collection.
