SEWN BY BOTH HAND AND MACHINE WITH SLEEVES SET OFF THE SHOULDER WITH PIPED SEAMS WITH PIPED DETAILING ON NECKLINE AND BELTING. SLEEVES IN CRESCENT SHAPE. HAND HAMMERED HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE ENCASED IN THE FABRIC OF THE FRONT WITH BUTTONS TRIMMING THE CLOSURE.INTERIOR LINED IN A COTTON TWILL WITH A FAN OF BONING ON EACH SIDE OF THE INTERIOR. THE SKIRTING FALLS LONG WITH ACCORDIAN PLEATING FULLY AROUND. INTERIOR LINED IN A POLISHEDE COTTON WITH A GLAZED COTTON ON THE INNER HEM AND A WOOL BINDING ALONG THE BOTOTM EDGE. CONDITION: SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED. SMALL FRAY BEGINNING ALONG THE REAR NECKLINE EDGE OF THE TOP WITH SEVERAL TINY BROWN POINT STAINS THAT ARE VERY LIGHT ON THE FRONT. THERE IS A DOUBLE THUMBPRINT SIZED DARK BROWN STAIN ON THE CENTER REAR BACK. THE BUTTONS ARE MISSING ALL OF THE SILK COVERING. TWO FEET OF THE BOTTOM RUFFLED SKIRTING HAVE COME UNDONE AND NEED TO BE RESTITCHED BACK INTO PLACE. FOUR PINHEAD HOLES IN THE SKIRTING. THE WAISTLINE OF THE SKIRT WAS COVERED IN AN EDWARDIAN EMBROIDERED NET TRIM AND I PERSONALLY WOULD REMOVE AND RESTORE WITH A GROSGRAIN RIBBON.
