With a 1:160 scale, it is a replica of the of 51' 3 3/4" Rivet Side Mechanical Reefer used by the American Refrigerator Transit Co. during the 1960s. The car is made of plastic and comes fully assembled, ready to go. It is classified as a C-9 Factory New-Brand New grade, and is in vintage condition. This model is perfect for any transportation or railroad-themed display. Built by Pacific Car & Foundry in October 1962 this "reefer" runs on Barber Roller Bearing Trucks. Most RPL Class cars are normally equipped with loading devices and a refrigerator unit. The refrigerator unit in this one is powered by a small diesel a compressor and the necessary controls. All items are NOS (New Old Stock) unless otherwise described and all items are pre 2000 production.
