Let me please share the critical measurements (if you generally wear a sz 40R suit, this gem might be terrific for you): When the coat is buttoned & layed flat, it measures 21 1/2 inches straight across from underarm to underarm (43 inch chest)......it is 32 1/4 inches from the top of the back collar to the bottom of the coat.....and the sleeve length is 33 inches (8 inches from neck to shoulder seam & 25 inches from the shoulder seam to the cuff)......regarding the pants, they measure 17 1/2 inches across the waistband (making for a 35 inch waist)......the front rise measurement is 11 3/4 inches.....the inseam is 31 inches.....and each pant cuff is 9 1/4 inches wide. As you'd expect of a H-F suit, your tailor or seamstress will be able to adjust the waist, inseam, sleeve length, etc. No suit looks better or is made with more care & expertise.
