Description: We have searched high and low for the films these were made for or used in. They are made from thin steel (quite light) and have all the hallmarks of 1940's or 1950's movie costume armour. The closest we have come is "The Court Jester" (1955) or "Knights of the Round Table" (1953). We have a few of these and most are made of steel, but there are a couple in aluminum. These are the same style of construction used in armour we have Identified as being from the Danny Kaye movie, "The Court Jester". These seem to have come from the MGM sale in the late 70's.These come from Global Effects an have recently had all the straps replaced with new leather, and were most recently used on the 2001 Martin Lawrence film, "Black Knight" (But not this exact pair) Sold as a pair, Photo is representative, but actual pair shipped my be slightly different in color Great for LARP or Cosplay, as they are light weight and durable. Plus how many other LARP costumes have original Golden Age movie armour. Here at Orbital Surplus, we collect odds and ends from anywhere in the galaxy.
