Description: This auction is for a refurbished McIntosh MS750 music server. The electrolytic capacitor of the power supply has been replaced. The 750GB IDE disk drive is also replaced. These two items are the common cause of failure of these machine. If they are not repair and replace, it is a time bomb and you will have problems. You can surf the web looking for electrolytic capacitor failure due to bad/stolen formula (Capacitor plague) to view this issue. If you have one of these machines and not functioning or need to replace these capacitors, message me. This unit also comes with a new front face glass panel. As with all hard disc, they don't last forever. Having a new hard drive ensure long service life. These 750GB drive are hard to come by and few years back, I mange to secure a box of new drives. If you wish to retain the old capacitor and hard disk, let me know during payment and I will include them in the shipping box. The difference between the MS750 and the MS300 are as follows. Larger front panel display. Larger directional push buttons. Case of the MS750 is different and longer, component inside are more space out for better cooling. Larger hard disc drive.
