This is another one of my typical Fully Restored 4400s. You are bidding on one of Marantz's Flagship Quad receivers!!! This 4400 was fully restored and includes a reproduction WC-43 wood cabinet. This is a late Green Scope 1974 production model dated 12-10-1974 . The Faceplate / Knobs are really nice, (9.5/10). The rear is nice. The Green scope tube is at 100%. The FM is above average. All boards completely hand re-soldered and flux cleaned to prevent crosstalk Both main filter/ripple capacitors replaced with stock value 20,000UF/50VDC All 178 electrolytic capacitors replaced with all high quality Panasonic, Nichicon, and ELNA RFSII Silk—audio graded types used in signal path Both speaker protection relays replaced with new 48VDC Omron type The main power switch replaced with 7A E-Switch AM/FM Section recapped. The tube was adjusted to factory specifications. The pictures tell it all. The Scope was aligned and adjusted for brightness and focus. Both Audio Amplifier Boards DC Offset and Forward Bias set to factory specifications. The Internal Chassis does have some surface oxidation/ rust but this is typical for a lot of these 45 year old receivers. Receiver tested in all modes, everything works. Fantastic clean sound out of all four channels. This unit does not include a SQA Decoder or Decoder Cover Plate.
