Description: This Magnavox ZV450MW8 VCR DVD Recorder Combo comes with its original factory remote. I can not test the remote due to the “issues” noted in the condition specifics of the VCR/DVD unit itself - so, remote functionality is unknown. The unit boasts four heads, high definition (HD) full stereo playback, making it a great addition to any vintage electronics (parts) collection. Used, casing clean and intact, powers up but seems to auto shut-off fairly quickly most of the time. This guy *will* play on the VCR side, but only momentarily before the power shuts down. It *will* eject a tape with power on, most of the time. If the power shuts down mid-eject, it’s a bit tricky to retrieve your tape - forewarning. The DVD side attempts to load and eject (you can hear it trying), but very rarely will take (feed) in a disc. Disc feed flap has to be manually opened. Recommend this item either for parts or for possibly extensive repair. Casing is very clean, from a non-smoking, pet friendly home.
