Description: This Madame Alexander Thailand, #567 doll, comes in her original box but she does not have her hand tag. I was given her when I was a young girl some time in the eighties. She is one of the only dolls I broke the rules with and I played with her along with the ballerina. I just loved her vibrant costume. I tried to treat her gently but I wanted her to live and interact with my Barbies so badly! Her hat stays snugly on her head but the elastic band for it is a bit stretched out. The same is true for her pants. They stay up fine but if she were to try and walk about town I'm afraid they might fall off. I also think her joint at the waist has become somewhat weak. She does great in a stand but her days playing with Barbie are over. If you are looking for a beautiful doll to display traditional Thai costumes this is a good representation. The costume is still vibrant. The embroidery isn't pulled. The shoes are still shiny. The hat is stil perfect and the face is unfaded. She just needs a bit of stabilizing in a stand. Contact me if you want to buy more than one of the dolls I have listed to do a package deal or save on shipping. Thanks!
