The Lustersheen Stripping Mesh is the “Classic product” to do the manual buffing and dry scrubbing necessary for the stripping and cutting down of old paints and varnish from all types of wood and metallic substrates. Stripping Mesh is useful at cleaning stone and brick such as the removal of moss and other unwanted foreign matter and contamination, interior or exterior. For example stone or brick window sills and trim at city brown stones. The Lustersheen Stripping Mesh is the ideal abrasive for the dry scrubbing necessary for the initial removal of built up grime and undesirable finish that is a necessary part of reviving antique furniture, old substrates, parquet floors, granite, stone and marble. The flat high carbon shaving that forms the stripping mesh provides a tough cutting edge for stripping that outlasts steel and synthetic pads. The open weave allows for accumulation of waste, easy removal from the work surface, and easy cleaning and reuse of the cloth.
