It is a medium viscosity, fast curing, cyanoacrylate material that is well suited for electronic applications. Loctite 406 has proven to have superior results with hot melts, RTV and other tacking alternatives, as well as, providing stress relief for soldering joints. It has a 0.004" gap fill and a initial cure time of 15 seconds. In conjunction with Tak Pak Accelerators, it can attain instant cures for fastening electronic components.
