Description: Leica M3 Double Stroke- Ex Cosmetics- Early Serial #. Cosmetically beautiful low serial number M3 Double Stroke. A great candidate for a restore or just use it as is. Nice, smooth wind and rewind. Rangefinder seems properly aligned and bright. Self timer operational. Shutter speeds appear to be correct with the exception of 1/1000. The curtains do not separate at this speed. I shot a few rolls with it and there were no issues. This camera has never been opened up! Still has Leica Wax Seal. There has only been one owner before me and it was unused and stored in a case (that is included) in a climate controlled house for the last 40+ years. I was considering CLA’ing it but have decided to let it go as is- the buyer buys this camera knowing that the 1/1000 speed is non functional. One tiny piece of vulcanite missing. Please look at photos and ask questions if need be.
