Description: Late Model (1950) LEITZ Leica IIIc Camera, Converted to IIIf, with CaseLEITZ Leica IIIc screw-mount camera body converted to IIIf by adding flash synchronization. Late IIIc model with the serial number 504 024, made in 1950. Focal-plane shutter. Coupled rangefinder. The camera is in good cosmetic condition and seems to be functional: Film transport and frame counter are working.Focal-plane shutter is working at all settings (including the slow times), but has not been checked for accuracy.Flash contact fires external flash. The viewfinder is clear. The rangefinder delivers a clean secondary beam with very good overlap. Chrome and vulcanite covering in good shape. The first curtain of the focal-plane shutter has a very rough surface (see picture #8 and compare with the second curtain shown in picture #9). However, I have not seen any light leaks. The camera comes with a take-up spool and the original brown leather case. Buyer to pay actual USPS shipping cost (no handling fee).
