Description: This large and heavy antique inkstand is made out of black marble with a brass-hinged central inkwell lined with a glass well and ink funnel. It is a beautiful and unique piece that would make a great addition to any collection. It has four ball feet and a channel along the front for pens. The base is 10 by 7 inches and the central inkwell is 3 inches square and 3 1/2 inches high. Weighs 7 pounds. Black marble has white veining, there are a few small chips along the front edge and on the corners.
