Please note that this replacement hardware is a HIGH TENSILE STAINLESS STEEL, in Grade A2-80, which is an austenitic, acid proof stainless grade which has been cold worked to provide a minimum tensile strength of 800 N/mm2 (MPa), or approximately 115,000 psi. The black stainless steel screws are coated with a chromium oxide layer via a computer-controlled electrochemical process. As a result, the stainless steel screws are still protected against rust.
