This copy is a reprint of Farri's 1569 edition which was a reprint of the 1555 edition from Gabriel Giolito de Ferrari, et Fratelli. It offers commentary as well as a life of the poet, both by the Italian scholar Lodovico Dolce. One vellum bound volume in 32mo, (36)+598+(2) pages This volume is in good shape, with some rubbing and old staining to the binding. There is a bit of cracking and separation of the foot of the front hinge, with the first gathering slightly loosened at the bottom. Several leaves are frayed at the beginning, particularly leaves a3 and a4, with part of the latter lacking and partially adhered to a3v. There is some foxing and scattered staining throughout, with a small corner worm hole.I typically ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
