Description: A fine example of a two piece mahogany blind door secretary desk / bookcase in the Chippendale style by Kittinger from their Williamsburg Adaptation collection, its upper case with a molded cornice surmounting two blind paneled doors, which opens to a three shelf interior, over a lower case with slant front, which opens to a writing surface and compartmentalized interior with valanced open cubbies and three fitted drawers, over a two over three drawer configuration, all with batwing brasses and escutcheons, all supported by nicely carved bracket feet. Dates to the 20th century, with a Kittinger Williamsburg Adaptation brand appears in one of the fitted drawers. Very good condition, with some minor alligatoring to the finish in areas, and other minor imperfections. Keys included. Dimensions: 82 in H x 40.5 in W x 21.75 in D.
