He was a five time NL All-Star, the 1979 NL Most Valuable Player, won 11 Gold Gloves, 2 Silver Sluggers, won a batting championship and was a World Champion in St Louis in 1982 and was a key member of the 1986 New York Mets. He finished his active playing days in Cleveland with the Tribe. Hernandez does color commentary on Mets games, has been a studio analyst for MLB on FOX since 2017. He had a few run-ins with law enforcement including a cocaine possession conviction including a suspension and charitable donation fines and mandatory drug abuse counseling. Keith is still a celebrity wherever he appears, has published 5 books, appeared on Seinfeld, Law & Order and Sesame Street on TV and in movie's The Scout and The Yards.
