Model Number: 0110GRSBOTM-B ~ A true beauty from Buck Knives, this version of the 110 Folding Hunter features a unique factory installed black Cerakote® thumbstud mounted on a S30V drop point blade. Adding to the singular style are OD Green G-10 handles with nickel silver bolsters. Traditional in heritage, but with modern steel and materials, gives this knife a style all its own. Once viewed, you have to hold it. Once held you have to have it. This 110 Folding Hunter will be The gem in your collection ! Limited Edition - only 500 knives were produced. The blade, is satin finished, BOS heat treated S30V steel with a razor sharp drop point. On the front of the blade is “Buck 110” with an Asterisk for the date code and also "USA". On the back of the blade is the “BOS S30V" symbol. A seldom seen feature of this 110 Folding Hunter is a factory installed black Cerakote® coated thumbstud mounted on the blade. The regular production knife is made of the usual 420HC steel and clip point and does not have a factory thumb stud. Of note, during production the 2021 date code was mistakenly not entered into the program/machine. The program/machine then defaulted to an Asterisk for the date code. Revered knives like this are always treasured by collectors and a perfect gift for the person who must have one-of-each. The handle, also featuring materials unique to this BOTM 110 Folding Hunter, is made of OD (Olive Drab) Green G10 with brushed nickel silver bolsters. The regular production knife is made with ebony and brass. The sheath is high quality black leather featuring a belt loop on the back and holds the knife securely within the sheath with a snap button closure. The "BUCK" name is around the edge of the button, and also on the front of the sheath. On the back of the sheath is "110". Sheath is imported from Mexico. S30V Steel This advanced steel, S30V, contains carbon as well as high amounts of Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium. The pictures are part of the Condition/Description; you will receive the exact item(s) shown in the pictures. This knife is unused, never carried, stored away as a collectible, factory edge never re-sharpened, never used to cut anything ! Lets call it investment grade Near-Mint ! All items only taken out of the Original Box to examine and to take these pictures. Blade Edge & Knife Point are razor sharp ! No chips / dings to the blade edge, Markings are clear. Now to get really picky - if examined closely, and only seen when held at certain angles to the light, there is a very slight and small 1/4" surface mark near the tip of the blade; only cosmetic, blade is perfectly functional (please see 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th picture). Again, really a minor issue, a buyer might not even notice. I make mention because I noticed (I am REALLY picky). I want you, as the buyer to know Exactly what you are buying (a Near-Mint knife) and to enjoy this purchase. At the back ricasso, only seen when held at certain angles to the light, on the right edge there are very slight pivot scratches (please see 20th, 21st, 22nd picture). Of note, the 5th picture (front of knife) and 6th picture (back of knife) are taken with the camera flash. The handle is in Mint condition. The sheath is in Mint condition. The box is in Mint condition. The box is dated on the underside "06/08/2021" including "FOLDING HUNTER". Overall, gorgeous; I really do mean a b-e-a-utiful looking (and rare !), purpose built, Limited Edition 110 Folding Hunter in ready to use, razor sharp condition. A nice addition to any blade collection and it looks so very AWESOME ! Of note, the knife will Not be shipped inside of the sheath; the knife and sheath will be packaged very carefully for shipment. For the Collector / Investor: the sheath is designed to hold the knife very securely within the sheath. Overtime, when the knife is put into and taken out of the sheath, this movement will scratch the finish on the bolsters. I highly recommend to Never put this knife in the sheath; this sheath will, most likely, scratch the finish on the bolsters (in general, sheaths from all major manufacturers will have the same effect). Again, this is for the Collector / Investor - and I feel it should be said once again. I believe if you put this knife into a sheath, from Buck or other manufacturer - it will be scratched.
