Description: Item description This beautiful ORIGINAL SET of the french fashion magazine "Journal Des Dames et Des Modes", Set number 242 is in VERY GOOD condition. All the sets are complete with text plates and pochoirs, except for the final one that is missing the last 7 issues. They also have the original wrappers and they come in four protective cases to store them. A couple of pages have foxing otherwise in exceptional condition. The approximate size of each issue is 6"x 9". See pictures for more details. FeaturingEach issue in this set is from the same set number, "No. 242". Only 1250 sets were printed and numbered from 30 to 1279 (printed on Holland paper). Volume I, 1912 (issues 1 to 21): has 21 issues, from June 1st, 1912 until December 20th, 1912. All complete with plates/pochoirs, plus "Le Theatre Des Champs Elysees" issue.Volume II, 1913 (issues 22 to 39): has 18 issues, from January 1st, 1913 until June 20th, 1913. All complete with plates/pochoirs.Volume III, 1913 (issues 40 to 57): has 18 issues, from July 1st, 1913 until December 20th, 1913. All complete with plates/pochoirs. Volumes IV-V, 1914 (issues 58 to 72): has 15 issues from January 1st, 1914 until May 20th 1914. The last seven issues are missing.
