Description: I can't find and restore these things fast enough. Try and find a chisel in this condition at this price anywhere. Answer-You can't. Everyone loves them. The back was lapped flat and the bevel was sharpened to 6000 grit with a 12000 grit micro bevel. Since I have lapped the back flat, you will probably never have to do anything to it unless you drop it on the floor. Only light touch ups are needed at this point The butt hoop was removed, corrected, and properly reattached. The striking surface was properly peened over. The handle was stripped and given three coats of shellac. The keeper is included. It's not the best in the world but, I use them so the edge doesn't get dinged up in my tool box. There is nothing worse than picking up a chisel that you sent a LOT of time sharpening only to find a nick in it.
