Description: Touch & Go fanzine Issue No. 8, the Jan's Rooms cover (created 1980) By now, most of you already know the back story of this item. During this time, I was taking print classes at LCC(Lansing Community College). These are left over unfinished covers for Touch & Go No. 8, the first issue of the fanzine with an offset printed cover. I would go on to print covers for issues #10, #11, #12, #13, and #14. The photo, taken by me, was later used for The Fix' second release, and was recently used for the cover of the book Better Never Than Late that came out a couple of years ago. These are not photo copies, but were printed on an old AB Dick offset printing press back in 1980. For anybody wondering, yes, the building is still standing. The ground floor is now a hot dog joint, but rooms are still available on the 2nd and 3rd floors under its new name, The Lansing Inn. I've included a recent photo taken 12/24/23.
