Freight shipments are strapped to a pallet and cellophane wrapped. If you have any problems with your item, please let me know ASAP so I can do my best to resolve any issues. Returns: When accepted, returns must be approved prior to items being shipped back. Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Buyer pays shipping (original and return charges). Item must be returned in the same condition it was sold in (example “New”, “Unopened”, “Sealed”, “Working”, etc). All components and accessories included in original listing must be returned. Tracking information must be provided for return shipment. Insurance is required for return shipments. I will not be held responsible for damage during return shipment. Extra charges may apply to any returns that do not comply with these terms. Although every effort has been made to photograph and describe this item accurately and completely, it is being sold "As Is" with no warranties expressed or implied. If it's not in the picture, it probably doesn't come with it. Please ask. I do not accept responsibility for damage after the item leaves my location. It will leave my building in good condition. Filing of damage claims with the freight carrier is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please inspect your items upon receipt. Any damages must be documented with the freight carrier before they depart your location. I insure ALL of my shipments and take photographs when they are wrapped prior to shipping. Shipping Damages: Unfortunately, shipping damage and total loss is an issue among the freight industry. Even though I crate, palatalize, and use protective materials on my items, I sometimes cannot control mishandling or damages that may occur while in transit. If there is any damage, it must be indicated on the Bill of Lading that the driver gives you to sign. If you do not examine the merchandise and you still sign for it, you will NOT be able to file a claim or hold the shipper responsible. Freight companies are able to deny millions of dollars in damages because items were not inspected at the time of delivery and were not marked as "damaged" on the Bill of Lading. If your item has been crated, please expect to uncrate it and inspect it before the driver has left and before you sign for it. A driver is obligated to wait. If he or she tries to rush you or you are in any way unhappy with the delivery, ask to speak to his or her dispatcher. Shipping Practices: If you are running a business out of your home, you are still classified as a residence. Freight is generally bulky and heavy. This means that it must be lowered to the ground from the truck, which is usually 3-5 feet off of the ground. If you do not have a loading dock or a forklift at your delivery site, you will need to use the truck's lift gate to lower the item to the ground. Freight companies charge a separate fee for this service so please let me know if you do or do not require a lift gate on delivery. Inside Delivery: Unless you pay for and make arrangements to have the freight company bring your item(s) inside, they will not do it. Freight deliveries are sidewalk / curbside only. You must have the tools and man power to uncrate your item and bring it inside. The driver is not required to provide any tools or assistance. I also cannot warranty equipment. Warranties are only available from the manufacturer on new equipment for a limited time. If you prefer a warranty I suggest you pay the higher cost for new equipment. I test every piece I am capable of, prior to sending it out. I have tested this item and show it working in my pictures, but please be aware I am are selling this item ‘AS IS’ and make no claims to the functionality of the item once it leaves my facility. I sell my equipment at a deep discount from the new price and want you to consider it as NOT WORKING regardless of the pictures so you understand that if you need a part like a thermostat or something... I do not account for this. If your item includes free shipping and you decide to return it for any reason, the shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. In some cases I do accept returns, but not for a claim of “Item doesn’t match the description” since I claim nothing towards the functionality.
