Yamatoku is a Kiln in Saga Prefecture manufacturing Arita, Imari porcelain. Named after Yamaguchi Tokuichithat, the kiln began production at the beginning of Meiji (1868-1912) period. The Yamatoku mark is in 'katagana' characters. The charger also bears a five Character mark in red. 21.5cm diameter, 2cm deep.
