Fully cleaned, serviced and tested. These unique lasers synchronize together in “chorus” and look great in fog/haze. This 4 head Laser Chorus System is rare and not often found on eBay. This system has been refurbished with brand new laser diodes and control cables, works as designed, and is in great condition. Remember, the time to buy is when you see one available. Don’t miss your chance to own a Laser Chorus System. What’s Included:Rack mount Laser Chorus controller with 16 built in patterns, and 3 user programmable memories. Has 1/4” audio input jack to sync the laser beams to music. An RCA TO 1/4” audio cable is included to connect a stereo or dj mixer to the 1/4” audio input of the Laser Chorus controller. Use the built in joystick to manually control the laser beam position. Before listing on eBay I cleaned and serviced the controller, tested each button and function. I replaced the dead memory backup battery with a brand new 3.3v lithium battery to save your pattern sequences. Power cord for laser controller. Four Laser Chorus laser heads with hanging brackets. Two lasers are RED and two are GEEEN. The old 4.95mW HeNe laser tubes and laser tube power supplies have been replaced with brand new modern 4.95mW Laser Diodes for bright colors and long life. A fan has been added inside each laser head to cool the laser diodes. Before listing on eBay, I cleaned and tested each laser head. Each laser was measured with a Coherent Laser Check power meter and power was recorded on the back of each laser. The GALVO motors/mirrors were cleaned and adjusted. It is in great condition, has been well maintained, and should provide many more years of enjoyment. Although it is fully functional and has been thoroughly cleaned & tested, it is important to keep in mind that it is now over 35 years old. While vintage electronics were designed to be repairable and were built better with higher quality components than today’s modern electronics, it may or may not develop issues that require calibration and/or repair at any time in the future. This is similar to what to expect when buying a vintage muscle car or hot rod. Please do your homework and have realistic expectations when buying any vintage electronics or automobiles. Given all that was just mentioned, this Laser Chorus System is being sold in working condition, as-is, and is not able to be returned or have payment refunded. Each channel has two fuses, one for 8v logic and one for 32v laser power. I have tested each channel and all 24 controller fuses and replaced any that were blown. A very common issue with Laser Chorus occurs when a cable goes bad, the fuses blow to protect the controller and laser. The laser doesn’t power up and so the user plugs it into the next channel blowing its fuses too. Often I have laser chorus controllers come in for service that have no output on any channel. The cause was a bad cable that was “tried” in every channel, blowing all the fuses. Because of this, I have included four brand new 25’ laser cables (purchased last week for $25 each) so you can enjoy your laser system and to avoid this issue.
