Description: HERON DIAMOND OF DREAMS This album's predecessor, Mike Heron's Reputation, was effectively the final Incredible String Band album with Robin Williamson demoted to backing vocals on a couple of tracks before the ISB split in 1974 and he decamped to California to rediscover the Celtic harp. Truncating the name just to Heron, Williamson's former music partner came back with a harder edged rock album with a strong set of songs, including Don't Kill It Carol, the Desert Song (Do It Yourself) and the brilliant Trim Up Your Love Light and some great lead guitar from Frank Usher throughout the album. However well it did, it deserved to do better and still sounds good today. Mike Heron was - and still is - a real talent and this album is part of the evidence.
