Description: Haviland & Co Limoges France Schleiger 449 Dinner Plate, 9.75", Double Gold Trim These are beautifully hand painted floral dinner plates produced in Limoges, France by Haviland & Co in the pattern identified as Schleiger 449. The plates feature delicate sprays of pink and blue flowers with green foliage. The plate shape is known as blank 22 which has a scalloped edge. The plate edges are trimmed with two rows of gilding. The backstamps are Mark I, a green "Haviland France" for the blank which was used from 1894-1931. The decorator mark is Mark c, a red "Haviland & Co, Limoges" which was used from 1889-1931. These are dinner plates with a diameter of about 9.75". They are lovely pieces which would mix and match well with other patterns. At the time of listing, I have 10 of these beautiful plates available. The plates are in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, or stains. There are very minor, if any, signs of prior use.
