When heated above its liquidus it will penetrate tight connections. Popular brazing filler metal for HVAC and refrigeration connections Recommended joint clearance of 0.003 in. - 0.006 in. (0.08 mm - 0.15 mm) Flux is not required for copper brazing as it is self-fluxing. For brazing brass or copper-to-brass Stay-Silv white flux is suitable for most applications.
