It pictures a delightful country sceneof a people, pets, trees and homes in a stylized landscape.The rich colors come from the use of natural dyes.Each rug is hand woven in Eastern Turkey by adult women and therefore unique - no two are exactly alike.Use it as a wall hanging or a floor piece.The dimensions are 62 inches x 31 1/2 inches without the fringe; 70 x 2 1/2 with the fringe. The fringe is nicely tied off with multi-colored wool thread. In an effort to accurately present the colors of the natural dyes used in the making of this rug, photographs were taken using different lighting and backgrounds: in outdoor natural light and indoors using only synthetic light; and a combination of natural and synthetic light. This rug was recently mothproofed.
