Gorgeous Antique Solid Wood Victorian Armoire - Delicate Inlays-Mirror Door

Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Solid Wood Free Standing Armoire. The piece is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear at all. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. Unfortunately, someone has installed shelves within the armoire which are not original and are made of plywood. These could easily be removed, however, as they are not anchored into the armoire. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece. It features a gorgeous crown molding around the top, for a majestic finished look. The piece also features a beautiful parquetry inlay around the base of the molding, of alternating dark and light tones, but there are quite a few of these tiny pieces missing. There are quite a few that will be included with the armoire, but they would need to be put back into place. The armoire also has inlaid veneer trimwork, and marquetry on the doors. The mirror features a a one inch bevel around the perimeter. The armoire has the original metal hanging rods still inside which is most likely made of brass. There is some separation at the corners of the top crown molding. The armoire has a single larger size drawer with dovetail joints at the bottom of the center section, as well as two pull out open type of drawers. I am unsure of the type of wood that this armoire is made from, but it has a beautiful finish, and has obviously been well cared for, although I would guess that it has also been refinished at some time. There is also some paint that has run down onto the crown molding on the right side. The armoire is 83.5" tall,72.5" long across the front, and 22.5" wide front to back.
