Download Labs firmware from your computer to your SD card that your using in your GoPro device, then reinsert SD card in to camera. Then power up GoPro device.... Secondly, download "QRControl" Application from the Google play store... Open QRControl Application, then scroll down to the QR pattern section. Then type in the code !MTUSB=1 a pattern will appear.. Aim your GoPro device to the newly generated QR pattern your GoPro device will scan this code... When scanned it should say !MTUSB=1 with a red checkmark... Now you're able to use your GoPro device with a external battery and a external microphone using the GoPro usb microphone adapter.... This will allow you to plug in cooling fan powered by a separate USB cord to external battery and also use your GoPro mic and USB adapter as well to power GoPro and use a external wired mic for extra distance from fan noise.... Use a USB splitter to attach one USB plug to the GoPro mic and USB adapter and the second USB plug to extreme conditions fan... And USB source 'the USB before split' plug to into your external battery....
