I've been mixing into 3/4 cup warm water and stir. It thickens up like cream of wheat and tastes like it. I drink this and then fill the cup up with a full glass of cool water. I drink this. By the time I finish the glass of water, I'm full. Your stomach sticks out a little because you are so full. I drink it when I'm hungry. There aren't vitamins and minerals in it so you need to eat something or drink some spirulina or chlorella or wheatgrass juice to get some nutrition. But, if you are hungry, and want to be full, this is it. 1 teaspoon of glucomannan (contains 3 grams of soluble fiber.) Use it as thickener: Like cornstarch, but with 10 times the viscosity, Konjac (Glucomannan) powder thickens sauces, gravies, puddings and pie fillings without affecting taste.
