Description: Up for bid, is a Getzen trombone " Tone Balanced Super Deluxe " made in the U.S.A. . This Instrument comes with a case, which does have significant signs of inner and outer wear and may need to be replaced. I also want to mention that the only numbers that I could find are located on the lower brace which starts with a letter followed by three numbers. ( T 259 ) and I am not sure if they represent a serial or model number. There are also matching numbers on both the inner and outer tubing braces of the playing slide which is a number ( 2 ) . To indicate that this instrument has an original playing slide. The following is a list of the imperfections and flaws that are visible. The bell has a bend-like crease on the front and on the right side. There is pitting and rust like water stains on the back area of the bell and around the edge of the rim area where the lacquer has come off. The upper bell tubing has several small dents. The tuning slide has small dents on both sides. The tubing of the slide has a small inner dent towards the end where it curves on the inside. Some of the plating of the inner tubing has come off. The outer tubing plating on the playing slide has also come off on both the silver and gold coloring. The spit valve cork will need to be replaced.
