Description: This is an antique German porcelain sweetmeat dish figurine of a reclining man holding a bowl in a Meissen style. He is barefoot and wearing 18th or 19th century dress. There are flowers all over the clothing and the bowl, which also has butterflies. There is gilt trim on the edges of the bowl, scrolls on the base and accents on the clothing on the figure. The colors are a little lighter and softer than they appear in the photos. It is about 5" high, 6.5" wide, 4" deep. It is marked M-312 on the bottom. Dates to about 1900. The condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, crazing, no wear in the color or other damage. Reflections in some of the photos may look like there are skips in the colors on the arms, but there are no skips. Please ask questions before purchasing.3445
