These new floats from Weber are made from Spansil which is a form of NBR plastic with an expanded Ebanite formula that is 100% impermeable to liquid. Webers normally came with two different kinds of floats made from either brass or plastic - this new float replaces both styles with no modification (however setting the proper float height is different if your carb had a brass one originally). Do it once, do it right!
