Description: Description: Fura-Zone® is an antibacterial ointment for topical use on horses to assist the treatment and prevention of surface bacterial infections. This topical preparation contains the active ingredient Nitrofurazone and provides antibacterial activity against a wide range of bacteria. Fura-Zone® is a water-soluble ointment ideal for use on minor surface wounds, lesions, burns and cutaneous ulcers.Apply product directly on the affected area. After application, make sure to keep Fura-Zone® in contact with the wound or lesion for at least 24 hours. Bandaging may be used but is not required. For use on horses only. Do not use on food producing animals. Bandage is optional. The preparation should be in contact with the lesion for at least 24 hours. The dressing may be changed several times a day or left on the lesion for a longer period. Cautions: Federal law prohibits the use of this product in food-producing animals. In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns, use only as recommended by a veterinarian. If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use; reconsult veterinarian. Avoid exposure to alkaline material and fluorescent lighting. Storage: Keep away from excessive heat or sunlight. Restrictions: Cannot ship to Canada, inquire regarding restrictions to other countries Warnings: This product can expose you to chemicals including nitrofurazone, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. Some people may be hypersensitive to this product. Either wear gloves when applying, or wash hands afterwards.
