Description: Rare Albert Pike original 1885, 1st edition, later printing (first printing was 1884). Book is being sold "AS-IS". Book has been bound with flex paper boards which is attached by library tape & lacks end-pages. The rear hinge has cracked open to the spine and the appendix pages are separated from the rest of the book but are attached to the rear board. The lower spine of the wrap is chipped a little and there is a small hole to back cover. Stained, scuffed, soiled title with small tears to edges, tanned pages, some small tears to page edges, clipped lower corner of last page before appendix. Ink stain to vert. exterior page edge.
