However, developer Tecmo has provided you with a weapon you can use against the forces of evil: a camera. Dubbed the Camera Obscura, this device lets you capture any evil spirits you come across. Combat is easy to grasp and has a surprising amount of depth to it. Your objective is to focus your lens on a spirit for as long as possible to deal more damage. However, you'll need to constantly move when any spirits are nearby, creating a risk versus reward system. You'll find different types of film in your adventure, each of which does different amounts of damage. Every time you capture a spirit, you earn experience points, which you can use to level your character up. The camera isn't just a device used for combat. You'll frequently use it to solve puzzles as well. For example, taking a picture of a locked door will show you where on the map the key is located. With a release date in 2002, Fatal Frame for the Xbox is an attractive game to play. The ghosts have a transparent effect to them. Fatal Frame, developed by Tecmo, received a rating of T from the ESRB. It earned this rating due to its use of violence and the amount of blood and gore.
