Button broched rifling. Shank diameter .870, shoulder diameter 1.100 muzzle diameter .617. 18 TPI. Twist rate is 1 in 10. For the six lug bolt 1.15 inch diameter standard receiver. Some of the barrels may have slight surface rust from storage. The bores are excellent. Has factory markings "Use Only 338-06 A-Sq" and a number stamped on the bottom of the chamber end. These are factory take offs that were surplus due to there length. We purchased a semi trailer full of Weatherby inventory of surplus stocks & parts.
