Description: An extremely rare Japanese Baseball book, "The Home Run Story" with Babe Ruth on the cover. I have done a lot of research and I can not find another copy of the book out there, I can not believe many have survived. The year is an estimate, but I believe it to be from the1940s. The book is post war, it is written left to right. The cover has a great photo of Babe Ruth wearing his 1934 Barnstorming uniform from the tour of Japan. The book has some photos, all of them are shown in the photos I provided. The books back cover and a few pages had come off the spine, they where all connected together, I put a piece of tape on the spine the best I could and they are now attached. The book has toning spots and browning and has chipping or small pieces missing mostly on the covers. A lot of the pages corners are folded over, corner creased. The book has some tears, the Babe Ruth cover and 2 pages have a tear half way up the spine. The book has some staining and wear and has creases. I took many photos you can see the condition.
