Description: Erte FRAMED Print Art Deco Design Designer Woman French Art Print Great Gatsby. GORGEOUS - Erté - Art This fine art print is a 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. I hope you love this image as much as I do, and it will find a special place in your home. This is a vintage, Art Deco, print / book plate from a book of fashion drawings by Erte published. Each print is on glossy paper. You will receive an approximately 8x10 inch print framed in a new frame I purchased. The frame has two hooks on the back for hanging, it is not a desktop frame, it is a frame for the wall. CONDITION: The prints in this series are clear, clean, bright and extraordinarily colorful (really very vibrant). A really fine image. Excellent definition. Nice clean, sharp lines. Please note that this is a book plate that was removed from the book, which may be slightly jagged / torn, but would not be noticeable during framing. This print is guaranteed to be original print from vintage book of Erte prints. It’s an authentic old print from the aforementioned book of drawings, and NOT A REPRODUCTION. The print itself comes as is from the publisher. The publisher may have had some dust or imperfections from printing that I have no control over, but I carefully photographed the print to show the condition and show any flaws that I notice. Please note, colors may look different on your monitor verses in person. This listing is just for the print and frame, no plant is included with this listing (it is just a photography prop). "Erté" was the pseudonym used by Romain de Tirtoff, a Russian-born artist who gained international recognition for his stylish and elegant designs. He is considered one of the most prominent artists of the Art Deco movement, which emerged in the early 20th century as a reaction to the ornate and elaborate design styles of the previous century. Erté's designs were characterized by their flowing lines, bold geometric shapes, and intricate detailing. He created a diverse range of works, including fashion designs, theatrical sets, illustrations, and sculptures. His designs were inspired by a variety of sources, including ancient Greek and Roman art, Art Nouveau, and Japanese prints. Erté's career spanned several decades, and he continued to produce new works well into his 90s. He worked with a wide range of materials, including bronze, stone, wood, and precious metals. He also collaborated with many prominent figures of his time, including fashion designers, theatre directors, and musicians. Erté's legacy has endured long after his death in 1990, and his designs continue to be celebrated for their beauty, elegance, and timeless appeal. His influence can be seen in many areas of modern design, including fashion, jewelry, and interior design. His works are also highly sought after by collectors and are featured in many prestigious galleries and museums around the world. Let me know if you have any questions! :
