Description: Digital turnout control switch disguised as a Bethlehem Steel Co. Model 51 switch stand. Hidden tactile push-button lies under the switch stand flag. A great solution for local control of a turnout without having to install a control panel. I use these with DCC Concepts Cobalt IP Digital turnout motors on my own layout and they have worked out great. The push-button switch is rated at 50 milliamps and can be used with many different types of turnout motors such as Tortoise and Servos. Works great with stationary decoders such as Digitrax DS74, NCE mini panel, and many more. The target is a press-fit onto the push button and will dislodge before breaking if accidentally bumped during operation so you don't have to worry about operators breaking the control target. Extra targets are included in case one gets damaged or lost. Sold in as a pair, 2 per pack, with the push button preinstalled. The main picture of this listing shows the control installed on Homosote. These have been installed and tested on my own layout using Cobalt IP Digital turnout motors. The push-button switch is momentary, normally open, rated at 50ma. I have a version of this turnout control rated at 3 amps if you need a higher-rated control. The kit comes unpainted and ready to install. 2 switches per pack.
