Description: This is a dry point etching by David Young Cameron 1865-1945, a prominent Scottish painter,etcher and dry point artist. This is the ruins of a building in Stirling, Scotland, Mar’s Wark, built1570-1572 by John Erskine, Regent of Scotland and Earl of Mar. It’s printed on fibrous Japanpaper, with the plate marks measuring 9 7/8”x 6.75” and is pencil signed, in good condition. It’sin the original black wood frame that measures 17”x 13.25”, with all new materials. I will be listing a few more Cameron etchings.
