If you have any doubt if this spring will work in your gun, please contact me before buying it to be sure it will work in your gun! This listing is for a new Daisy spring. This will work in the new Daisy lever action BB guns like the model 1938B Red Ryder, model 105B Buck, model 1998 "Pink Rider", model 1999 that has a synthetic stock, and the model 1938ARR "Adult Red Ryder". It will also work great in the "wide frame" Daisy lever action BB guns like the model 95, 96, 98, and 99 that were made in ROGERS, AR to restore them to their original performance. It is an excellent spring, better quality than the springs that came in many older guns that were made in Rogers, AR. It has thicker wire and the ends are ground square and flat to make installing it easier. If your gun was made in Plymouth, MI, this is not the correct spring. If you are unsure if this spring will work in your Daisy, please message me before buying so I can verify that it will work or not. Installation of this spring requires the gun to be disassembled. This spring is NOT recommended for the current production Daisy Model No. 25 pump gun, and it is NOT recommended for the Daisy Model 1894. Unfortunately, I do not carry springs for either of these models. Also, for those who are bored with the limited range of their otherwise-excellent Daisy Model 499 due to the stock 240 fps muzzle velocity, by simply installing this standard spring- with NO OTHER CHANGES- will allow the 499 to shoot in excess of 400 fps!! This means a shooter can hit targets out to 25-plus yards with ease. The reason the 499 performs so well using this spring is because the design of the 499's abutment and shot tube is far more efficient than other Daisy BB guns. Message me for details.
