Collins 75A-1 Ham Radio Receiver + Manual (recapped, beautiful cosmetics)

Description: This Collins 75A-1 (serial number 630) is in really good cosmetic condition. I'm fairly certain the cabinet and faceplate have been professionally restored as they're simply too nice. Whoever did the work knew what they're doing as this is clearly not an amateur job. There are a few small scuffs, but overall it's an easy 9-out-of-10. The chassis of the receiver isn't quite as clean. Peaking through the slots of the cabinet, I can see some replaced capacitors under the chassis. Someone also installed a new AC cord. The receiver is working well, although some of the controls are a little scratchy and would benefit from being serviced with electrical contact cleaner. Also included in the sale is an original user manual. I apologize if shipping seems steep, but keep in mind that this covers not only postage but packaging materials as well. The specialized double-wall box and foam chemicals will take up at least $75 worth. The good news is that I have a ton of experience packaging these monsters and can assure that it will reach you in fine shape. SHIPPING/PACKAGING: All orders ship within one business day.
