Christopher Reeve Superman Signed Lobby Card Framed Display JSA Authenticated

Description: Christopher D'Olier Reeve [1952 2004] was an American actor and director forever remembered for his portrayal of the DC Comics character Superman. Reeve appeared in other critically acclaimed films and received the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award. On May 27, 1995, Reeve was left quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse and died on October 10, 2004. Listed for auction is a rare original movie lobby card for the film Superman III signed by Christopher Reeve. The movie was released in 1983 and the lobby card contains an outstanding image of Reeve as Superman, and the autograph is signed on his image ''Christopher Reeve'' in blue felt tip pen. The lobby card was issued by Warner Bros, contains the movie title and is numbered #8. The lobby card measures 10.00 x 8.00 inches, it has trivial surface wear otherwise it has retained all its original colors, is in fine condition and displays wonderfully. Mounted below the lobby card is a professionally engraved plaque which reads as follows, ''I'm here to fight for truth, and justice, and the American way. Christopher Reeve September 25, 1952 - October 10, 2004. Superman Clark Kent Now look. The Post: ''It Flies'' 'Look Ma, No Wires.'' The Times: ''Blue Bomb Buzzes Metropolis''. The Planet. The lobby card has been professionally framed and matted with great attention to detail as follows. The lobby card has been triple matted in a silver/blue outer matte and accented with a dark blue and a black inner matte. The display has been completed in a quality ornate silver wood frame to the dimensions 18.00 x 16.00 inches. It is a stunning display; the autograph has been authenticated and signed on a rare and desirable original lobby card.
