Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a truly gorgeous Cartier Pasha Seatimer. This is a fantastic Cartier fine timpiece from the house of Cartier in a modern and striking 40mm size. There are a lot of Cartier Pasha references and timepieces on the market --- as it is a classic --- but this one is in great condition, comes with a nice sized bracelet and has cool supporting collateral. My reputation as a Seller is another factor when making a consideration and my eBay rating speaks for itself. Of course at Dr4 industries we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces – specifications, provenance, history, etc.. Just ask if you have a question! We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in excellent condition. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch are… 1. This watch is wears true-to-form for a 40.5mm watch. I can recommend this watch for any male or female with an average wrist size. This is probably the most masculine and "sporty" of the Cartier Pasha references given the black dial, black bracelet, black cabouchon and diver functionality and design ethos. Given the way the lugs flair out the watch still has an interesting and noticeable stance and that makes it suitable for up to a about a 7+7/8 inch wrist which is the maximum that this bracelet will accomodate. Interestingly, my wife carefully removed some links and has worn this on her 6+1/4 inches also and it looks great --- oversized and cool --- but that is probably the lower limit for keeping a nice proportion on the wrist. 11 months of the year it is sized for my 7+1/4 inch wrist and it looks fantastic.2. The case construction and the dial in particular are very high-end and even approach haute-horology as one can see from the beveling, anglage and finishing. As you may know, the great Gerald Genta had a hand in the Cartier Pasha design language and this may be the most functional and beautiful of any of the Pasha references. Cartier makes beautiful items of distinction and this one is no different. This is an immediately recognizeable fine timepiece that garners praise and generates discussion. I find the lume and the numerals particularly well done on this Seatimer reference. Reading time is a true pleasure and easy on the eyes. 3. This watch tells time in a classic three hand configuration that is high-contrast on a wonderful deep, mysterious black dial. Mix in the functional and wonderful 120 click dive bezel, canteen crown guard, lumed second hand, lumed divers bezel pip, 100m water resistance and impressive lugs and you have a stylish yet fully ISO 6425 compliant dive watch. 4. One of the primary selling points for this is the nice rubber coated stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet is a thing of beauty and very secure --- it completes the serious diver and integrated design ethos. Gerald Genta would approve. And of course these rubber-clad bracelets are expensive and add significant value over other bracelet or strap references. 5. Only 12mm (approximately) in thickness, it looks wonderful with casual or business attire as well. Notice also the contrasting metal treatment (brushed on the side) but high-polish elsewhere. A functional but also beautiful and thoughtful case presentation from all angles. 6. The crown has the canteen covering --- a design icon of Cartier and a feature that always puts a smile on my face. Under the screw-down canteen crown covering is a very small crown that while very small, winds fine and propels the automatic movement. Of course, when one wears the watch a rotor translates your wrist movement into additional winding energy and helps propel the timekeeping funcationality. 8. Let's not bury the lead --- the wonderful black dial with the square "train track" minute register is simply a dial icon. It has "world traveler" or "James Bond girl" or "a Player" (like the Pasha... more on that later...) design ethos and vibe. 9. You also get the Cartier collateral that you see in the "everything picture" (#2) to round out the listing and add extra value to your Cartier Pasha Seatimer experience. It will ship in a generic watch box as well because I care to make sure that the watch arrives safely and in great shape for the next lucky owner and their aquatic or high-style adventures. This watch is frankly for somebody who either brings a very individual since of style and/or already has a few high-end timepieces and knows a thing or two about Cartier and the place of the Gerald Genta designed Pasha in the history of haute horology. Please do research how Gerald Genta made his mark on Cartier with the Cartier Pasha. Getting into a Genta designed timepiece is always a smart long-term play so you may as well know the esteemed design ethos of this fine watch before you buy it. Let's add a word about Cartier --- a luxury icon with an enduring, global cult following. In fact, Forbes ranks it as the 56th most revered brand in the world in 2020. Cartier brings in annual revenue in the billions (of USD) and has an estimate brand value of over $10 Billion. 200+ stores in 15 countries and 3 Historically Significant "Temples" or "Maisons" in Paris, London and New York comprise the impressive retail footprint. King Edwary VII refered to Cartier as "the Jeweller of Kings and King of Jewellers" so high praise reaches back over a century and a few generations ago. Quality but also decadence is how I like to think about Cartier. Any potential buyer of this fine timepiece should also know the rumored cool history of "the Pasha" for which this is named. In the early 1930s the Pasha of Marrakesh, El Glaoui, wanted a timepiece that was sporting and with some measure of water-proof. There is a picture which seems to support this assertion but to my knowledge it has not been objectively and fully verified. But the story is that the Pasha did not need it for swimming or sailing or anything of a sort in terms of water resistance. Rather, he wanted a cool timepiece that he could keep on his wrist for his frequent spa like bath soakings and such... with some selections of his rumored 150 woman harem. He was by all historical accounts a ruthless leader of Morroco and he did so with a certain measure of debauchury that would make Hugh Heffner blush. Interestingly, he is far from revered now in Morroco as he is viewed as a leader who betrayed his country in pursuit of his own ego, his own wealth accumulation and his own pleasure. A relatively new French work, glaouiser, or "to betray" is accredited to his controversial history. If you are like me, with a history or story like that... well, you have to have one on your wrist at some point in your life. No harem spa for me but out for drinks with the wife, a splash in the pool, cruise ship vistas --- absolutely. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exception is the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. It is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some. Thank you for your consideration, Steve
